This privacy policy covers the bookshelf, reader's area and the corporate areas of this website. It specifically does not apply to the writer's area: where writers will be creating and editing their content on our site.
We collect information about you for two reasons. Firstly to track where you are in a book, and secondly to track how people are using the site, so we can make it better. If you sign in to our site using Facebook, we store your Facebook user-id (a numeric value that uniquely identifies you), if you do not sign in with Facebook, we leave a cookie on your computer with a random number in it, which acts as your id when you're on the site. We store no personal information, such as names, emails or lists of friends.
We do not work with 3rd party advertisers, and do not share our information with any other party.
In order to sign in with Facebook, you need to have an account with Facebook. That is subject to its own privacy agreement. See the Facebook site for details.
We track site-usage with Google Analytics. This also adds a cookie to your browser, and is covered by Google's privacy policies. We cannot access any personally identifying information this way, only aggregate information (such as how many people have visited the site, and when, or what browser they used to do it).
Users have the right to ask for all personal data stored on them at any time. Users have the unrestricted right to have that information deleted from our site.
We may change our privacy policy without warning. Changes will be prominently summarized at the top of this section.
